Victoria’s Essential Services Commission (ESC) has finalised the details of its first-of-a-kind time varying solar feed in tariffs (FiT) which are to be introduced on July 1, 2018.

The current FiT payment for businesses feeding solar power into the electricity grid is at a minimum of 11.3 c/kWh. This payment is set to rise up to a maximum 29 c/kWh. Your business could see the money it gets back for supplying energy into the grid nearly triple the current rate during peak periods.
